Hi there!
My name is Jenny Gremillion (or Jenny Bell if you knew me before 2006!) and I’m a southern, contemporary artist based out of Covington, Louisiana. I’ve been painting since 2013, but I’ve been creative since childhood…
I spent 15 years in corporate sales before I reconnected with my creative side. I am now a proud mom to 3 girls and painting is my way of expressing my emotion. I love to spread love and joy with the world through my bright and happy art. I use mixed media techniques including acrylics, spray paint, gel mediums, inks and more in my work. I love the options they lend with contrast and texture exploration. My favorite color combo is pink and orange, and I love the contrast of black and white placed next to saturated color. I explore the push and pull of “intentionally placed” to “unintentional and random” composition creation, as well as freedom to trust the process.
I gather my inspiration from my daily life, from my travels and from my past. I am drawn to the concrete beneath my feet on my daily walks and all the shapes that I see…I travel to NYC as much as I can and I am very much drawn to the saturated hues and street art that abounds there… I have fond memories of playing in my grandmother’s closet, which included lots of colorful clothing and jewelry….
Most of my art is full of life and energy….I hope it uplifts and inspires you!
Thanks for stopping by...I’d love to hear from you…
